Victoria (Tori) Baker
Baker's Dozen Consulting
Consultant
Arvada
Now semi-retired, Victoria works occasionally as a consultant and teacher. She worked as an academic clinician serving culturally diverse populations in teaching and practice throughout her career. She worked as a certified nurse-midwife, director of a university based midwifery practice, public health nurse, consultant, and representative of a non-governmental organization in Central America. She consulted in teaching health equity. She served on academic committees to increase diversity. She taught and wrote about equity, culture, social justice and vulnerable populations. She presented internationally about how to teach culture, policy, and social justice. But, most of all, she has taught nursing and public health, in the clinical, laboratory, classroom, and online arenas.
