Research Analyst
Jasmine Bains joined the Colorado Health Institute (CHI) in July 2019 as a research analyst. At CHI, she specializes in program evaluation, data analysis and visualization, and supporting the Metro Denver Partnership for Health cross-sector collaborative. Her most recent work includes evaluating the value and impact of telemedicine, mapping the federal funds for COVID-19 relief, and analyzing the 2019 Colorado Health Access Survey.
Before coming to CHI, Jasmine worked at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment supporting the Colorado Health Assessment and Planning System.
Jasmine earned her master’s degree from the Colorado School of Public Health, Anschutz Medical Campus in epidemiology and community/behavioral health. She focused her graduate work on implementing social and economic screenings in specialty care settings, evaluating a screening tool for early identification of developmental needs, and serving as a graduate teaching assistant. Jasmine holds a bachelor’s degree in integrative physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking new foods, taking care of her plants and puppy, and spending time both outdoors and in the yoga studio.
